Stress
Two types of stressors
- vertical - past issues are brought to the present day and are matched against current models of thinking. They are inherited from prior generations.
- generally the -isms, like racism, sexism, ageism, poverty, workplace issues, violence, depression, genetics etc.
- horizontal - aspects of our lives that relate to the present, and are developmental and unfolding. Ie. Lifecycle transitions
- moving, unemployment, natural disasters, political climate, accidents etc.
